R32 Event Series
Personal, 2023, Munich, Germany
010
R32 is a series of events hosted by my partner and myself, the name referring to our home address. Each event centers around friends coming together around the living room table and enjoying each other’s company. Each event has its own theme, which is reflected in the cooking.
I conceived a visual identity for the series, seen through a variety of printed matter, with each event receiving its own set of illustrations. Consistency is the attention for rare paper materials and the postcard format, which keeps the same size and layout. The depicted materials where packaged in a transparent envelope and mailed to each participant.

Acronym Dynamics Lab
Nike, ACRONYM, 2022,
Berlin, Germany
009
February 2022 ACRONYM and Nike were releasing a new collection, and part of it was a Blazer Low silhouette. The idea behind the shoe was an interchangeable 3D printed heel clip.
10 designers were hand-picked to design their a heel clip, including myself. My design is inspired by different types of straps, ratchets, and connectors, while I also chose to emphasize the mount points of the heel clip on the shoe.
The Nike logo is integrated as well, but I merged a lightning bolt design into it, inspired by the exhaust pipes of Japanese bozusoku cars, something ACRONYM cited as an inspiration behind the new collection.

World For Us
Elvis De Sade, 2021, Munich, Germany
008
Artwork for Munich-based band Elvis De Sade. I designed the album cover front and back, vinyl record stickers and band shirts.
Before the album was finished, the band gave me the opportunity to listen to a bunch of songs. It made me feel as if I was driving, alone on a dimly lit highway. The cover illustrates the rhythm of highway lights passing you by in the middle of the night.
The band shirts features a spot illustration on the front and a full back graphic, both depicting a lamp hung from a chain, further elaborating on the theme of a dimly-lit night.

NFON Incentive Campaign
NFON, 2020, Munich, Germany
007
Melville Brand Design approached me to illustrate an incentive campaign for NFON, a market leader in cloud-based telephone systems, with the aim to thank and motivate their employees.
The result is a heap of imaginary communication devices, which I designed in a tongue-in-cheek manner, to make people reflect on the meaning
of communication, and how we take it’s availability for granted.
These illustrations were applied to a whole range of merchandise items, which were then boxed and gifted to workers.

Mono Tee Pitch
Mono Tee, 2020, Munich, Germany
006
In 2020 Mono Market, distributor of plant-based vitamine supplies and teas, set up a public pitch for a limited edition package design of their headline product, Mono Tee.
I recieved a blank template and a bunch of samples in the mail and got to work, coming up with 8 different designs. Despite none of my work being retained, I’m happy to display what I think was a solid effort. Each design was an effort to translate a sample taste into a visual concept. Shown here are both finished proposals as well as some prototype models made along the way.

MPHIL Campaign Pitch
Münchner Philharmoniker, 2019, Munich, Germany
005
While working as an art director, I was asked to support with a campaign pitch for the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.
I came up with illustrations that combined architectural fragments of an orchestra hall with elements of musical instruments.
Unfortunately, the pitch was short-lived but I took it upon myself to further develop my illustrations into a fully-fledged poster campaign.

Nike RUNLD Collection
Nike, 2019, London, United Kingdom
004
In 2018 I was asked by Sang Bleu Agency to
collaborate on the 2019 Nike “RUNLD” London
Marathon capsule collection. The brief was to combine typical London architectural landmarks with so-called “chicken shops”, symbolizing the international character of the city.
I drew up a bunch of constructions that
combine an illustrated corner store with buildings such as Battersea
Power Station, Big Ben, and the Lloyd‘s
Building. These designs were then combined into patterns by Sang Bleu Agency, and were used across the entire collection.
The limited release included two running shirts, a pair of shorts and a running jacket, and was covered by media outlets such as Hypebeast and Highsnobiety.

Oakley CPP Cards
Oakley, 2017, Munich, Germany
003
The Oakley Certified Partner Program unifies all certified Oakley dealerships across the world. Back in 2017, the German leg of the program sent out a christmas-themed package to all partners, wishing them well for the holidays.
I was tasked with illustrating the greeting cards. I toyed with the logo a lot, producing an exploded view-style design as well as a pattern. In the end, the client signed off on an alternative approach in which I designed machines for making gingerbread men.

Volleyball Innovations
Comdirect, 2017, Munich, Germany
002
German online bank Comdirect has a longstanding tradition in supporting the premier volleybay league. In 2017 they contemplated taking their support one step further, introducing technical innovations that improve both viewer experience and engagement with the bank’s products.
I was asked to provide a spot illustration for each of the bank’s proposed ideas, respecting the bank’s corporate identity, meaning color palette and typography, whilst retaining the high level of detail I am known for.
